Passives

Les passives en si la dificultat que tenen és:

- Saber si el subjecte passiu està en singular o plural.

- Recordar com s'escriu el verb en la 3ª Columna.

En Passat necessitarem was/were + el verb en 3ª Columna.

I, he, she it, singular noun : was

you, we, they, plural noun: were

En Present necessitarem am / is / are + el verb en 3ª Columna.

I am

he, she, it, singular noun: is

you, we, they, plural noun: are

i.e.-

PAST                                                                   PRESENT

My mother was given a present.                 I am taken to hospital urgently.

My parents were given a present.               A present is given to you.

                                                                          Presents are given at Christmas Time.
