SINGULAR i PLURAL i ja que hi som, com dir un/una segons com comença una paraula:

With singular nouns: a / an

- Before a noun beginning in consonant: a

- Before a noun beginning in vowel: an

a lemon, a t-shirt, a doctor, ...

an apple, an elephant, an astronaut, ...

With an uncountable word or plural form: some

There is some bread, sugar, bacon, yoghurt, water, milk, tea, coffee, ...

There are some apples, lemons, t-shirts, shoes, ...

With an uncountable word or plural form in a negative or question form: any

There isn't any bread, salt, cereal, wine, chocolate, pizza, ...

Is there any orange juice, onion, cheese, ... ?

There aren't any oranges, mushrooms, lentils, ...

Are there any tomatoes, grapes, chickpeas, ...
